Church pastors urged to prepare their successors to perpetuate their vision

On April 02, 2022, the Senate Speaker, Rt Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, enhanced with his presence the prayer for the nation organised by the Association of Pastors for Peace and Sustainable Development in Burundi (APPPDBu), in Bujumbura Town.

This prayer aimed at praying for families, the Church, the country and peace in the world.

Addressing the pastors, Rt Honourable Sinzohagera focused his teachings on the theme of preparing their successors to perpetuate the vision and programmes already undertaken. “No human leader is eternal, that is why he must share his vision with his followers in order to make it eternal,” he added.

Finally, the Senate Speaker urged those leaders to be good shepherds and especially to decentralize the authorities and capitalize on the gifts found in their respective churches.
