Christians of the United Methodist Church invited to follow the way of Jesus Christ

The Senate Speaker, Rigt Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, along with his wife and some senators, joined the Christians of the United Methodist Church of Rohero parish, in Bujumbura Town, in the Sunday prayer that coincided with the celebration of the New Year’s Day, January 1, 2023.

Referring to the Gospel of St. John 14:16, Right Honourable Sinzohagera invited those Christians to follow Jesus Christ way to prepare to live in Heaven.

To succeed this, he asked them to be guided by the Holy Spirit.  “Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life,” he added.

The Senate Speaker took the opportunity to advise them not to be followers of individuals because the latter will not get them to Heaven.
