The Speaker of the Senate warns people who sell plots to foreigners

Saturday, September 02, 2023, Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, Senate Speaker, joined the population of Maramvya zone, in the commune Mutimbuzi, Bujumbura province, in community development work which consisted in paving classrooms at the ‘ECOFO Maramvya IV.

Addressing the population, Right Honourable Sinzohagera urged them to get down to development work, protect state lands, ensure the education of children in general and girls in particular, contract loans to BIDF and banish galloping demography.

He warned people who sell their plots to foreigners and asked them to immediately stop this spirit of lack of patriotism and synonymous with selling their nation.
