Departure of the Speaker of the Senate to the Republic of Chad

The Speaker of the Senate, Right Honorable Emmanuel Sinzohagera took the plane this afternoon of October 3, 2024, to the Republic of Chad where he will take part in the 82nd Session of the Executive Committee and the 46th Conference of Speakers of National Parliamentary Assemblies of the African Parliamentary Union which will take place in N’Djamena from October 5 to 9, 2024.

During this session, participants will address two themes, one relating to the challenges of peace and security, in particular through the promotion of the involvement and empowerment of youth in African countries, and the another on the economic development of African countries through the development of natural resources, the diversification of the economy and industrialization.

During his stay in Chad, the Speaker of the Senate will have the opportunity to discuss issues of common interest with different delegations.
