This Thursday, December 19, 2024, the Second Deputy-Speaker of the Senate, Honourable Fabrice Nkurunziza returned from a working mission he carried out in Mombasa, Republic of Kenya where he participated in the 14th edition of the inter-parliamentary games of the member countries of the East African Community, which took place from December 6 to 18 of this year.
This event was organized under the theme: “Strengthening integration through inter-parliamentary games.”
These games are organized every year on a rotating basis in the countries of the East African Community with a main objective of strengthening regional integration and social cohesion between the population of the member countries of this community.
It is planned that the inter-parliamentary games of the year 2025 will be hosted by Burundi.
