This afternoon, Wednesday, April 9, 2025, the Senate Speaker, Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, flew to Seoul, Republic of South Korea, where he will take part in the 2025 World Summit for Peace and Human Development, organized by the Universal Peace Federation, under the central theme: “Contemporary Global Challenges: Establishing a New Era of Peace and Prosperity,” which will be held from April 10 to 14, 2025.
During this Summit, a special session will be devoted to the issue of global conflicts and crises which have threatened the future of humanity since 2022.
The Senate Speaker, Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, will also participate in the inaugural Inter-Parliamentary Conference of Speakers of Parliaments (ISC), of which he is a founding member, scheduled for April 12, 2025, under the theme: “Building Global Unity: Strengthening Shared Peace and Prosperity through Inter-Parliamentary Dialogue.”
The Senate Speaker will take this opportunity to meet with his peers to foster friendly relations.
