On Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the invitation of the House of Councilors of the Morocco Kingdom and the Association of Senates, Shouras, and Equivalent Councils of Africa and the Arab World, addressed to the Senate of the Republic of Burundi, the First Deputy-speaker of the Senate, Honourable Denise Ndadaye, flew from Melchior Ndadaye Airport to Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco, where she will participate in the Third Edition of the South-South Parliamentary Dialogue Forum, organized under the main theme: “Interregional and intercontinental dialogues in the countries of the South: an essential lever for meeting the new challenges of international cooperation and achieving peace, security, stability and shared development»,” which will be held from April 28 to 29, 2025.
The First Deputy-Speaker of the Senate, Honourable Denise NDADAYE will also take this opportunity to join other women parliamentarians of the Association of Senates, Shouras and Equivalent Councils of Africa and the Arab World (ASSECAA) at the discussion meeting on the launch of an annual Forum of Women Parliamentarians of Africa and the Arab World.
This Forum will be a privileged opportunity for the Secretaries General of ASSECAA member countries to meet to discuss and develop the proposal for the creation of a Forum of Secretaries General from ASSECAA member countries.
