Call on ECOFO Kinama students to work in teams to succeed

In the afternoon of Monday, November 09, 2020, Right Honorable Emmanuel SINZOHAGERA, Senate Speaker, continued his visit to ECOFO Kinama 2 located in Mubimbi commune of Bujumbura province where he exchanged with the 9^th grade students in order to encourage them.

In his message, the Senate Speaker provided various pieces of advice to the students of that school, asking them to spare no effort during their studies in order to succeed for their better future and that of Burundi of tomorrow. “Teamwork will guarantee your success,” says Right Honorable SINZOHAGERA.

He continued his tour at ECOFO Kinama 1 where he addressed the welcoming population. In his remarks, the Senate Speaker urged those residents of Kinama to buckle down to development activities organized within cooperatives.

He also urged them to fight against the manufacture and consumption of prohibited drinks as well as polygamy because this constitutes a source of land conflicts and juvenile delinquency.

Right Honorable SINZOHAGERA closed his remarks by asking parents to educate their children to love school and protect themselves against Covid-19.

The believers of “Eglise du Rocher” were invited to promote hygiene in their communities

The Senate Speaker, Right Honorable Emmanuel SINZOHAGERA, accompanied with his family, joined the Christians of “Eglise du Rocher”, located in Buyenzi quarter of Mukaza commune, in Bujumbura city, in a Sunday prayer on November 08, 2020.

In his preaching, Right Honorable SINZOHAGERA focused his teachings on the obedience of God.

Through that preaching, he asked Christians to obey the will of God because obedience is both the key to blessing and the way to Heaven. In this regard, he called on the congregation and Burundians to respect the commandments of God, especially as The Almighty occupies the first place in the Constitution of Burundi.

In addition, the Speaker of the Upper House of Parliament invited believers of that Church to pray for leaders of the country and the Burundians as a whole so that God will could bless their planned projects for the well-being of all and of the country.

He called on Christians to remain calm, to strengthen peace and security and promote hygiene in their communities.

Finally, Right Honorable SINZOHAGERA urged them to continue to protect themselves against Covid-19 by respecting hygiene measures.
