The Senate Speaker urges the faithful of “L’Eglise des Amis” to safeguard peace and protect the environment

Right Honorable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, the Senate Speaker, urged the faithful of “l’Eglise des Amis”to safeguard peace, security and protect the environment by planting trees through the project “Ewe Burundi urambaye”.

He said this during a Sunday prayer which took place at that Church located in Magarama quarter, in Gitega commune and province, on Sunday, October 25, 2020.

Right Honorable Sinzohagera, in his message, thanked the faithful of that Church for the activities carried out to support the actions of the Government, as well as to protect the good health of the population.

In that regard, he reminded them to continue to fight against Covid-19 by respecting sanitary measures.

Right Honorable Sinzohagera closed his preaching by asking the faithful to make an end to jealousy in the Church of God and to avoid sin wherever they are.
