The year two thousand and twenty-three, on the fourteenth day of August, Senators met in the Senate hemicycle for the 149th plenary session of the Sixth Legislature to consider and adopt the programme of activities for the period from 14 August to 1 September 2023.
The session, chaired by the Speaker of the Senate, Right Honourable Emmanuel SINZOHAGERA, was attended by 26 senators and began as usual with a prayer at 10.38am.
Opening the session, the Speaker of the Senate first welcomed all Honourable senators and then presented the programme of activities scheduled from 14 August to 1 September 2023, which was unanimously adopted.
The session which took place in a climate of mutual understanding ended at 10.57am with a prayer.
