Approval of a candidacy for the position of provincial governor

On Wednesday, February 4, 2025, on the proposal of His Excellency Evariste Ndayishimiye, President of the Republic of Burundi, and in accordance with article 192, paragraph 9 of the Constitution of the Republic of Burundi, senators, in a plenary session led by the Senate Speaker, Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, unanimously approved the candidacy of Mr. Ndaruzaniye Léonidas, proposed for the position of governor of the province of Ngozi.
