Christians called on to strengthen the love of the neighbour during this Lent period

The Rt. Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, Senate Speaker, accompanied by senators elected in constituencies of Bujumbura Town and Bujumbura Province as well as the Mayor of Bujumbura Town, joined the Christians of the Church of the Holy Spirit of the Souls Relief (ASEDA) of Kinama, in Bujumbura Town, In the Sunday prayer celebration of April 04, 2022.

In his speech, Rt. Honourable Sinzohagera called on Burundian people in general, and the Christians of this Church in particular, to strengthen the love of the neighbour especially during this period of Lent as God has loved us, and to continue to protect themselves against Covid-19 because it is still relevant.

On this occasion, the Senate Speaker extended his condolences to the Eusebu Church in general, and more particularly to the family of its Legal Representative, who was murdered during the night of April 2 this year.

During his preaching, Rt. Honourable Sinzohagera focused his teachings on the word “Keep your heart more than anything else because it is from there that life springs”. In this regard, he called on them to avoid wandering in the prayer rooms, but rather to embody the word of God in their hearts.
