Christians urged to choose life and goodness

Under the patronage of the Senate Speaker and Legal Representative of the United Methodist Church in Burundi, Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, the youth department of this Church organized an evangelization crusade, in the chief-town of Cankuzo province, from 12 to 14 July, 2024. The theme of this activity is taken from the Acts of the Apostles 4:20.      

Opening the activities of this crusade, on the first day, Right Honourable Sinzohagera preached on the basis of certain biblical verses, notably Deuteronomy 30:15-20 and Revelation 22: 11-15. He advised the faithful of this Church to choose life and goodness. He also encouraged the saints to sanctify themselves much more.

The Right Honourable, Speaker of the Upper House of the Parliament asked them to be characterized by discipline and to be guided by the Holy Spirit. At the closure of the crusade, he asked them to pray while working, to acquire truth, wisdom, instruction and intelligence, and not sell them. The President of the Senate finally urged the participants in this crusade to go to preach the good news of Jesus Christ.

In this celebration, Right Honorable Sinzohagera was accompanied by the senators from Cankuzo constituency, as well as some administrative officials of this province.
