
This Friday, April 25, 2025, at the premises of the Nunciature in Burundi, in Bujumbura City, the First Deputy-Speaker of Burundi Senate, accompanied by the Second Deputy-Speaker, signed the book of condolences following the death of His Holiness Pope Francis.
After signing, Honourable Denise Ndadaye, as a Christian and a member of the Catholic Church, expressed her most sincere condolences, as well as her compassion and solidarity with the Apostolic Nuncio to Burundi during this painful time.
In her message, she also highlighted the many qualities of His Holiness Pope Francis, including his role as a guide and peacemaker, as well as his tireless commitment to human dignity and his exemplary humility.
Honourable Ndadaye affirmed that the legacy of Pope Francis will continue to enlighten consciences and guide those who work for a fraternal, peaceful and turbulence-free world.
