Departure of the Second Deputy Speaker of the Senate to the Republic of Azerbaijan

On November 14, 2024, Honourable Fabrice Nkurunziza, Second Deputy Speaker of the Senate, flew to Baku, in the Republic of Azerbaijan where he will participate in the parliamentary meeting organized as part of the 29^th session of the Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 29).

This event, which will take place on November 16 and 17, 2024, is co-organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan. It will bring together parliamentarians from around the world to seek common solutions to the most pressing climate challenges.
