Farewell visit of the Ambassador of Algeria to Burundi

On behalf of the Right Honourable Speaker of the Senate of Burundi, the First Deputy Speaker of the Senate, Honourable Denise Ndadaye, accompanied along with the Second Deputy Speaker of the Senate, Honourable Fabrice Nkurunziza, received in audience the Ambassador of Algeria to Burundi, Mr. Hamid Boukrif, who came for a farewell visit, on Friday, April 26, 2024, to the Senate office, in Bujumbura.

Their meeting focused on strengthening ties of cooperation between Burundi and Algeria, especially in the field of education, where this country grants study and training scholarships to Burundians.

Ambassador Boukrif appreciated the quality of economic, technical and cultural cooperation between the two countries.

The First Deputy Speaker of the Senate invited Hamid Boukrif to remain a good Ambassador and best intercessor for Burundi, wherever he goes, especially externally.
