Funeral Ceremonies for Honourable Jean Bosco Kurisansuma

Senator Jean Bosco Kurisansuma, from Cibitoke constituency, passed away on May 15, 2025, in Bujumbura city. The funeral took place on Friday, the 23^rd day of the same month, in Mabayi, his constituency.

Various participants in these ceremonies paid their last respects to this illustrious deceased at the military hospital, in Bujumbura town, where his body lay, and then at the Catholic parish of Mabayi, where they later took part in the requiem mass.

Honourables Denise Ndadaye and Fabrice Nkurunziza, respectively First and Second Deputy-Speakers of Burundi Senate, along with senators and some staff members of this Institution, were also present.

This event was also attended by various high-ranking officials of the country, including the Prime Minister, some deputies, and many others, as well as a huge crowd of people who came from different provinces of the country.
