Right Honorable Sinzohagera invites the Bagumyabanga to buckle down to development activities organized at the level of cooperatives

Saturday, November 07, 2020, the Senate Speaker, Right Honorable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, accompanied by his family, joined the Bagumyabanga of the CNDD- FDD party in Rushubi zone, in Isare commune, his native commune of Bujumbura province, in the ceremonies of that party victory in the 2020 elections. In his message, Right Honorable SINZOHAGERA, first of all, congratulated all the communal secretaries and members of the CNDD- FDD party in that province, for having devoted their full time and attention to scoop up many votes which led to the victory of that party.

In addition, the Senate Speaker invited the Bagumyabanga to buckle down to development activities organized at the level of cooperatives. On that occasion, he asked all elected officials to help the population at the hill level to develop good projects for self-development. He also called on young Imbonerakure to design projects in order to benefit from the funds of the Investment Bank for the Young (IBY).

Right Honorable SINZOHAGERA also asked the communal authority of Isare to closely monitor the management of funds allocated to projects of village cooperatives. “The mismanagement of those funds is equivalent to the misappropriation of public property”, he said. In addition, he urged them to get actively involved in the fight against prohibited drinks, harmful to human health.

The Speaker of the Upper House of Parliament called on the chiefs of villages to provide good services to all citizens without distinction, and to take more care of the vulnerable. He appealed to the inhabitants of that commune to combine efforts to build offices for chiefs of villages to facilitate their task.

Right Honorable Sinzohagera reminded the inhabitants of that locality to continue to protect themselves against Covid-19 by respecting hygiene measures.

At the end of those ceremonies, the Bagumyabanga offered various gifts including a cow to the Senate Speaker to thank him for his bravery.
