SUMMARY REPORT OF THE PLENARY PLESSION OF 14 AUGUST 2023

The year two thousand and twenty-three, on the fourteenth day of August, Senators met in the Senate hemicycle for the 149^th plenary session of the Sixth Legislature to consider and adopt the programme of activities for the period from 14 August to 1 September 2023.

The session, chaired by the Speaker of the Senate, Right Honourable Emmanuel SINZOHAGERA, was attended by 26 senators and began as usual with a prayer at 10.38am.

Opening the session, the Speaker of the Senate first welcomed all Honourable senators and then presented the programme of activities scheduled from 14 August to 1 September 2023, which was unanimously adopted.

The session which took place in a climate of mutual understanding ended at 10.57am with a prayer.
