SUMMARY REPORT OF THE PLENARY SESSION OF APRIL 16, 2025

In the year two thousand and twenty-five, on the sixteenth day of April, Senators gathered in the Senate Chamber for the 234th plenary session of the sixth legislature to analyze and adopt the draft programme of activities planned for the period from April 17 to 30, 2025.

This session, chaired by Honourable Denise NDADAYE, First Deputy Speaker of the Senate, was attended by 24 senators and began, as usual, with a prayer at 10:02.

Opening the session, the First Deputy Speaker of the Senate first welcomed the Honourable senators present and extended greetings from the Right Honourable Emmanuel SINZOHAGERA, who is on a work mission abroad. The meeting’s chair then presented the schedule of activities planned from April 17^th to April 30th, which was subsequently adopted unanimously.

After the adoption of the programme, the meeting, which took place in a climate of complete harmony, was closed at 10:12 with a prayer.
