The Speaker of the Senate joins the people of Bukinanyana during water catchment work
September 16, 2025In the year two thousand and twenty-five, on the sixteenth day of September, Senators met in the Senate Chamber for the 8th plenary session of the Seventh Legislature to:
- adopt the amended programme of events planned for September 3-16, 2025;
- analyze and adopt the draft programme of events to be carried out for the period of September 17-30, 2025.
This session, chaired by the Right Honourable Gervais NDIRAKOBUCA, Senate Speaker, was attended by 11 Senators and began, as usual, with a prayer at 11:01 a.m.
Opening the session, the Speaker of the Senate first welcomed the Honourable senators and then presented the aforementioned programmes for adoption, which were all adopted unanimously.
Following the adoption of both programmes, the session, which took place in a climate of perfect harmony, was closed at 11:11 a.m. with a prayer.
