The faithful of the Pentecost Church urged to thank God for his mercy

Along with some senators, the minister of National Defense and veterans and the administrator of the commune Muha, the Senate Speaker and Legal Representative of the United Methodist Church in Burundi, Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, joined the congregation of the Pentecostal Military Chaplaincy of the Para Battalion in the zone Musaga, commune Muha in the town of Bujumbura, this Sunday, September 15, 2024, during a Sunday celebration prayer.

In his message to the congregation, he recalled the respect of barrier measures against Monkey pox and called on them to respond to the activities of the general census of the population, housing, agriculture and livestock, in progress.

The Right Honourable Sinzohagera based his teaching on Holy Scriptures, namely 1 Timothy 1:  12-16. He invited them to always give thanks to God for his mercy.

The Speaker of the Upper House of the Parliament advised them to serve as a model through their speech, actions, behaviour and faith.

He also called them to respect God, pray, repent and fast in order to bear the fruits of the Holy Spirit. He promised to support them on his own behalf in the ongoing construction of a church.
