February 4, 2023On Sunday, February 05, 2023, Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, the Senate Speaker, accompanied by his wife, joined the faithful of the Baptist Church, Rohero Parish, in Bujumbura city, in a Sunday celebration prayer.
The Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, in his message, commended the step taken by Burundians in terms of strengthening national unity, and indicated that the major concern of the Burundian people is the fight against poverty and the promotion of self-development projects.
Thus, he challenged the various churches to get actively involved in strengthening national unity.
The Speaker of the Upper House of the Parliament encouraged the faithful of the Baptist Church to pray while buckling down to self-development projects, particularly cooperatives.
He centered his teachings on the challenges that should not hinder us from achieving our goals. He said we should transcend them and continue to pray.
