On Sunday, October 31, 2021, the Senate Speaker, Right Honorable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, along with his two Deputy-speakers, Honorable Denise Ndadaye and Honorable Cyriaque Nshimirimana as well as the senators from Bujumbura city constituency, joined the faithful of the United Methodist Church (EMU) of the Rohero Parish of this locality, in a Sunday prayer.
Right Honorable Sinzohagera, in his message, invited the faithful of this Church to combine efforts to develop the country and properly carry out the tasks assigned to them.
He congratulated Burundian citizens for the efforts they made in the fight against Covid-19 because the current figures show that the new contaminations decreased according to the Ministry having Health in its attributions. However, he encouraged them to continue to protect themselves in order to eradicate this pandemic on Burundian soil.
The First Deputy-speaker of the Senate, who spoke on behalf of the visitors to greet the faithful of this Church, took this opportunity to call on them to love the Almighty God and love each other as required by the Word of God.
