The faithful of the United Methodist Church of Kayero called to support the construction of a new church

On Sunday, April 09, 2023, the Senate Speaker, Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, along with his family, joined the faithful of the United Methodist Church of Kayero parish, Mpinga-Kayove commune, in Rutana province, in the prayer of Easter feast celebration.

The Senate Speaker, who is also the Legal Representative of this Church in Burundi, praised the activities already carried out by this Church and encouraged the faithful of this Church to continue to support the construction work of a new Church. He indicated that the legal representation will contribute 25 million Burundian francs which will be used in the construction of a metal tube frame.

Relying on the holy scriptures from the books of Luke 24:1-10, Colossians 2:13-15, Right Honourable Sinzohagera asked them to forgive and love each other, to be slaves of holiness, and not to live only to please ourselves, but rather to please Jesus who sacrificed himself for us.

At the end of the day, the Senate Speaker visited the construction site of the paramedical school in progress by this same church and promised that the legal representation of this church will support the execution of this work.
