The population of Muramvya invited to protect the environment

On Saturday, September 9, 2023, along with senators and administrators of Muramvya province, the Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, Senate Speaker, joined forces with the population of Busangana village, in the commune Bukeye of this province, in the activity consisting in drawing of contour lines.

The Right Honourable Sinzohagera, in his remarks, invited the population to protect the environment by digging contour lines on all the hills of Muramvya province and planting anti-erosion hedges.

Speaking about the justice sector, he called on all those who work there to honour the province by improving their services to the point of gaining the confidence of the President of the Republic with regard to justice rendered to the population and the fight against corruption.

He also invited local elected officials to collect the opinions of the population on article 289 of the Constitution of the Republic of Burundi.
