The Senate Speaker acknowledges the Anglican Church’s contribution to the country’s development

Right Honorable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, the Senate Speaker, accompanied by his family and his First Deputy-Speaker as well as other senior officials of this Institution, joined the faithful of the Anglican Church at Saint Luc Cathedral located in Gitega commune, Gitega province, in a prayer, on Sunday, October 04, 2020.

The Speaker of the Upper House of Parliament, in his message, commends the development work carried out by the Anglican Church to support the Government’s efforts.

He reminded the servants of God that they are to be a light to illumine the nations through good character and love. Right Honorable Sinzohagera took the opportunity to ask the faithful of this Church to appropriate sanitation work and not regard them as a State’s affair.

In addition, he promised to support them in the extension works of this Church.

In his preaching focused on Luke’s Gospel, he insisted on humility because those who walk with God must have humble hearts.
