The Senate Speaker participates in the second annual conference of Speakers of African Parliaments in Midrand

The Senate Speaker, Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera flew, in the afternoon of Monday, September 16, 2024, to Midrand, in the Republic of South Africa, where he will participate in the second annual conference of Speakers of African Parliaments, scheduled for September 18 to 20, 2024, under the theme: “Educating an Africa fit for the 21^st century, by building resilient education systems for increased access to inclusive, quality and relevant learning throughout life in Africa”.

This will be an opportunity for him to share with his counterparts, Speakers of the Houses of Parliament, the efforts already undertaken by the Government of Burundi, to successfully complete the education system.

On the sidelines of this mission, he will be able to meet the heads of delegations of some countries, to discuss the strengthening of bilateral relations and parliamentary cooperation.
