The Senate Speaker requests Christians to interpret Time well

On Sunday, May 11, 2025, the Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, Speaker of the Senate and Bishop of the United Methodist Church of Burundi and Rwanda, accompanied by the Governor of Bujumbura Province; two senators from Bubanza and Bujumbura City constituencies; a deputy from Bujumbura constituency and other administrative officials, joined the faithful of the United Methodist Church of Rubirizi in Bujumbura Province, in a Sunday prayer.

Based on the Holy Scriptures from Genesis 8:22 and Luke 12:54, the Speaker of the Upper House of Parliament and Bishop of the United Methodist Church of Burundi and Rwanda invited the faithful present to interpret time well. In human and Christian life, there are always difficulties, but the key is to know how  to interpret them and take appropriate measures.

To overcome these difficulties, there must be unity and love within the Church, he added.
