The Senate Speaker’s return from a work mission in Indonesia

On September 5, 2024, the Senate Speaker, Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, came back from a work mission I Indonesia, where he participated in an Indonesia-Africa Parliamentary Forum at the invitation of the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia.

The theme of that forum was:” Forging an Indonesia-Africa parliamentary partnership for development”.

The Right Honourable Sinzohagera made it known that the forum focused on some issues such as South-South cooperation, health, agriculture, industry and technology transfer.

That mission has also been an opportunity to meet Indonesian consultants of the company JiMat which will grow sorghum in Muyinga, and that sorghum will serve to produce sugar and fuel., according to those consultants.
