The Speaker of the Senate pays tribute to Pope Benedict XVI

At the Embassy of the Holy See in Burundi located in the City of Bujumbura, the Speaker of the Senate, Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera and his Second Deputy, Honourable Cyriaque Nshimirimana, put their signatures in the Register of condolences to pay tribute to the Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI who rested eternally on December 31, 2022.

This former German Holy Father died at the age of 95.
