TRC delegation received in audience by the Senate Speaker

The Speaker of the Senate, Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera received in audience a delegation of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) led by its President, Ambassador Pierre Claver Ndayicariye, on 26 August 2022.

At the end of the audience, Ambassador Ndayicariye said that they came to inform the Senate’s Bureau on the progress of the activities that this Commission carried out since the beginning of the current fiscal year 2022.

He indicated that the TRC is focused on deepening investigations which contribute in understanding all the crimes committed in 1972-1973.
