{"id":10122,"date":"2024-06-19T09:39:22","date_gmt":"2024-06-19T07:39:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/senat.bi\/en\/?p=10122"},"modified":"2024-07-03T09:47:54","modified_gmt":"2024-07-03T07:47:54","slug":"summary-report-of-the-plenary-session-of-june-5-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/senat.bi\/en\/summary-report-of-the-plenary-session-of-june-5-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"SUMMARY REPORT OF THE PLENARY SESSION OF JUNE 5, 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;\">In the year two thousand and twenty-four, on the fifth day of June, senators gathered in the Senate hemicycle in Gitega for the 193rd plenary session of the sixth legislature to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;\">adopt the amended program of activities that were planned for the period from May 22 to June 5, 2024;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;\">analyze and adopt the draft program of activities planned for the period from June 6 to 18, 2024.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;\">The work which was led by Right Honorable Emmanuel SINZOHAGERA, Speaker of the Senate, saw the participation of 27 senators. The session began as usual, with a prayer at 10:20 a.m.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;\">Opening this session, the Speaker of the Senate first welcomed all the senators who were present at this work.
