{"id":10787,"date":"2025-09-02T14:59:29","date_gmt":"2025-09-02T12:59:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/senat.bi\/en\/?p=10787"},"modified":"2025-09-02T14:59:29","modified_gmt":"2025-09-02T12:59:29","slug":"summary-report-of-the-plenary-session-of-august-19-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/senat.bi\/en\/summary-report-of-the-plenary-session-of-august-19-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"SUMMARY REPORT OF THE PLENARY SESSION OF AUGUST 19, 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;\">In the year two thousand and twenty-five, on the nineteenth day of August, senators gathered in the Senate Chamber for the 5<sup>th<\/sup> plenary session of the seventh legislature to adopt the programme of events for the period from August 20 to September 2, 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;\">This session, chaired by the Right Honourable Gervais NDIRAKOBUCA, Senate Speaker, was attended by 12 senators and began at 10:30 a.m.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;\">Opening the session, the Speaker of the Senate presented the programme of events, which was unanimously adopted as presented.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;\">Following the adoption of the programme, several presentations were made. First, the First Deputy Speaker of the Senate presented the format and content of the proposed badge to the Honourable senators for their comments before proceeding with its approval.
