{"id":9143,"date":"2023-05-02T08:21:00","date_gmt":"2023-05-02T08:21:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/senat.bi\/en\/?p=9143"},"modified":"2023-05-22T11:23:29","modified_gmt":"2023-05-22T11:23:29","slug":"celebration-of-the-international-labour-and-workers-day-in-the-city-of-bujumbura","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/senat.bi\/en\/celebration-of-the-international-labour-and-workers-day-in-the-city-of-bujumbura\/","title":{"rendered":"Celebration of the International Labour and Workers\u2019 Day in the City of Bujumbura"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the occasion of Labour and Workers&#8217; Day, May 01, 2023, the First Deputy Speaker of the Senate, Honourable D\u00e9nise Ndadaye, accompanied by the Second Deputy Speaker of the Senate, Honourable Fabrice Nkurunziza, senators as well as some members of the staff of this Institution, enhanced with her presence the commemoration ceremonies of the International Labour and Workers\u2019 Day in the Town of Bujumbura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The festivities took place on the ground of the Secondary Technical School (ETS) of Kamenge, and were organized under the theme: \u201cEducated leaders, be the model among those who increase production\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These ceremonies were essentially marked by a long multicolored parade of workers from the public and private sectors, most of them wearing a loincloth made in Burundi, and some holding the fruits of their labour in their hands.
