Honourable Générose NGENDANGANYA, First Deputy Speaker of the Senate, granted, this Thursday, October 16, 2025, aid consisting of sheets, soap, bedspreads and feminine sanitary napkins to the pupils of the Technical High School of Nyabigina in Makamba commune, in the province Burunga, whose male dormitory was ravaged by a fire which suddenly broke out in the morning of Saturday, October 11, 2025, around 9 a.m.
After observing the damage, Honourable NGENDANGANYA invited these pupils and supervisors not to lose courage, but rather to continue studying as they are receiving some basic necessities.
The First Deputy Speaker of the Senate recalled that the Senate remains and will remain alongside the population who mandated it.
Before closing, she appealed to the people of Burunga, members of the diaspora and the various churches to continue to support these students affected by this devastating fire.
