The handover and resumption of Deputy-speakers’ offices

On Friday, August 8, 2025, the Senate organized a session to handover and resumption of the Deputy-speakers’ offices. This activity took place at the Senate’s palace in Gitega, the political capital of Burundi, between the Honourable Denise Ndadaye and Générose Ngendanganya, the outgoing and incoming First Deputy-speakers on the one hand, and the Honourable Fabrice Nkurunziza and Clotilde Kampimbare, the outgoing and incoming Second Deputy-speakers, on the other hand.

During this activity, documents, material equipment, and various documents were handed over. In addition, minutes of that session were signed.
