The Second Deputy Speaker of the Senate travels to Kampala to participate in the 15th Inter-Parliamentary Games

On December 5, 2025, the Second Deputy Speaker of the Senate, Honourable Clotilde KAMPIMBARE, departed for Kampala, Uganda, leading a delegation of Burundian parliamentarians and parliamentary staff to participate in the 15^th Inter-Parliamentary Games of the East African Community (EAC) member states.

Organized to promote collaboration and cohesion among legislators from the EAC member states, this 15^th tournament, held from December 5 to 16, will strengthen parliamentary cooperation and regional integration.

These games are held annually, not for the purpose of winning, but to improve inter-parliamentary relations through sports diplomacy.
