Leading the delegation of parliamentarians elected in the province Gitega, the First Deputy Speaker of the Senate, Honourable Générose Ngendanganya, met respectively with representatives of the population of zones Gitaramuka and Muhweza, commune Karuzi of the provice Gitega. It was this Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
That meeting permitted to collect challenges hindering the well-being of the population and made it possible to take stock of the situation in diverse fields of life.
That parliamentary delegation gave advice in regard to justice, health, security, environment and the love of work.
In those zones, the administrative leaders made it known that the population is facing problems related to insufficiency of potable water and electricity. It was also pointed out the need of a market for the zone Gitaramuka and a health centre at Muhweza. The administration indicated also that communal services do not have enough staff.
Participants at that meeting expressed their concerns regarding the lack of desk-benches in schools, the overabundance of students in classrooms, the lack of drinking water as well as the fact that vendors of coffee and maize have not yet been paid for the stocks they have sold.
