To celebrate the communal day, the Second Deputy speaker of the Senate, Honourable Fabrice NKURUNZIZA, accompanied by the Governor of Rutana Province, joined the population of Bukemba commune in this province. These festivities took place on the football field of Bukemba commune, this Saturday, August 3, 2024.
In his message, Honourable Fabrice NKURUNZIZA thanked the administrator of Bukemba commune for the activities already carried out. Then, he invited the population to continue to engage in development work, practice modern agriculture and livestock breeding, avoid witchcraft and hatred. He also invited them to group together in cooperatives in order to achieve the vision of Burundi, an emerging country by 2040 and a developed country by 2060.
He also called on agricultural instructors to be closer to the population for their supervision.
After the communal festival, Honourable Fabrice NKURUNZIZA visited “IRATABARA” House at the chief-town of Rutana province. This house hosts orphaned children and those from mothers who suffer from mental illnesses. As an encouragement, Honourable Fabrice NKURUNZIZA granted this House an aid consisting of one hundred kilos of rice and soaps as a native of this province.
