United Methodist Church faithful urged not to deprive themselves of God’s grace

The Senate Speaker and Bishop of the United Methodist Church in Burundi and Rwanda, Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, joined the faithful of this church, in the parish Murore, Cankuzo District, during the last two days of an evangelistic crusade, organized from June 26 to 28, 2025, under the theme taken from Isaiah 60:1.

In his preaching, Right Honourable Sinzohagera based on the crusade theme and the holy scriptures taken from 2 Corinthians 5:17 and Ephesians 2:5. He invited these faithful to be enlightened through good deeds, to accept the guidance of the Holy Spirit, to live the Word of God, to avoid sin, and to pray.

Moreover, the Speaker of the Upper House of the Parliament urged them not to deprive themselves of God’s grace, to be characterized by peaceful coexistence and holiness. He asked them to avoid resentment and jealousy.

On the sidelines of the activities of the penultimate day of the crusade, the Senate Speaker visited the district hospital of Murore in Cankuzo province to ensure its proper functioning.
