Addressing the population, Right Honourable Sinzohagera reminded them that everyone must give his contribution to the development of the nation.
Following the damage caused by climate change, he called on municipal administrators to take inventory of the damage and carry out rehabilitation where possible during the dry season. Therefore, he asked the population to try to combat climate change by protecting the environment.
In the same context, Right Honourable Sinzohagera asked the population to cultivate plants for food use and carry out irrigation during the dry season.
In relation to the growing demand from the population of Cankuzo for Burundi Revenue Authority (OBR) to establish a post in Gasenyi to facilitate their business climate, Right Honourable Sinzohagera promised them that he will discuss it with the relevant authorities.
He then urged this population to continue to safeguard peace and security, make good management of the harvest and especially sell only the surplus, avoid land conflicts. In case these conflicts occur, he advised the population to handle them peacefully. He did not fail to urge them to follow the education of their children, especially young girls.
After this work, the Speaker of the Upper House of Burundi Parliament went to visit the place where the RN 21 became impassable following runoff which created a large ravine.
Following this observation, he made a vibrant appeal to the Burundi Road Agency, which had already carried out rehabilitation studies, to intervene as soon as possible so that this national road, which is so important, becomes passable again.
We will check your location suggestion and release it as soon as possible.
