The Senate Speaker, Right Honorable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, together with his spouse, joined, in the morning of Saturday, December 05, 2020, the inhabitants of Mpinga-Kayove commune of Rutana province in the construction activities of the Church belonging to the United Methodist Church of Kayero Parish.
In his remarks, Right Honorable Sinzohagera, first of all, recalled that the objective of the responsible Government is that Burundian citizens be actors of their own development so as not to depend on external aid.
Then, he thanked all those who took part in these construction activities of the Temple of God and all those who invested themselves in the success of this project while reminding them that all these projects emanate from the dividends of peace and security which reign throughout the country.
However, he called on them to constantly watch over peace and security in order to block all enemy’s ways.
In addition, Right Honorable Sinzohagera urged them to be united despite their differences given that Burundi belongs to all Burundians.
Moreover, the Speaker of the Upper House of Parliament thanked God for the miracles that he consistently shows to Burundians, evidenced by the withdrawal of Burundi from the agenda of the Security Council of the UNO. In this regard, he called on them to benefit from it by increasing production.
Right Honorable Sinzohagera said that what prompted him to carry out community work at the Temple of God construction site is that God contributes by healing souls for the sake of the country.
He took the opportunity to congratulate the inhabitants of Rutana for this 4-storey building, which will house various services including the governor’s office. So, he appealed to everyone to support this commendable project.
