On Sunday, July 03, 2022, the Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, Senate Speaker and Legal Representative of the United Methodist Church in Burundi, along with his spouse and a senator elected in Bujumbura Town, joined the Christians of this same Church at Rohero Parish, in Bujumbura Town, in a Sunday prayer.
Addressing the Christians of this Church and the Burundian people, the Right Honourable Sinzohagera invited them to continue meditating on their independence. He also called on them to continue to contribute to the country’s development, especially through agro-pastoral projects in order to achieve economic independence.
In his preaching, the Senate Speaker advised the Christians of this Church to keep faith and to be always persevering, even in hard times. He asked them not to be like the lost son in the Bible, who left his family to go away and waste his wealth by living in debauchery.
