Burundians urged to strengthen the love of neighbor

On December 05, 2021, the Speaker of the Senate, Right Honorable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, joined the faithful of the United Methodist Church, in Rutana commune and province, in the Sunday prayer celebration.

In his message, Right Honorable Sinzohagera called on Burundians to strengthen their love of neighbor as we approach the Christmas Day. “Where there is love everything is possible,” he said.

He advised them to avoid any source of division and favor unity.

The Senate Speaker appreciated the fact that those faithful have built a new Church. “This is a job that honors you,” he added.

Right Honorable Sinzohagera also called on them to break off with from the chaos that characterized the United Methodist Church in the past, to combine efforts and roll up their sleeves to buckle down to development work.

He ended his remarks by inviting them to continue to protect themselves against Covid-19.
