Bururi population urged to fight against bushfires

The Second Deputy Speaker of the Senate, Honourable Fabrice Nkurunziza, accompanied by a senator elected in the constituency of Bururi, associated himself, on Saturday, September 02, 2023, with the population of Kijima village, Muzenga zone, Rutovu commune of the province Bururi, during the mixing of the concrete used for the construction of new classrooms in extension.of the Basic School of Kijima,

Addressing the participants in this work, Honourable Nkurunziza called on them to continue to preserve peace and security.

He urged them to take good care of the rabbits which they received through the cooperatives, plant trees and fight against bush fires.

The 2nd Deputy Speaker of the Senate also asked the parents of this locality to encourage their children, especially young girls, to continue their studies.

Honourable Fabrice Nkurunziza advised the population of Bururi to prepare for the next growing season, and to ensure the maintenance of the gutters of the main roads which cross this province.

He promised this school a contribution of cement, for the activities in progress.
