Christians of the Church of the Rock called to imitate the life of the palm tree

The Senate Speaker, Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, accompanied by the Mayor of the City of Bujumbura, the administrator of the Commune Mukaza and the senators elected in the Town of Bujumbura, joined the faithful of the Church of the Rock, located in the zone Buyenzi, Commune Mukaza, during the service of this Sunday, February 16, 2025.

In his preaching, focused on passages taken from Deuteronomy 8:11-16, John 3:30 and Psalms 92:12-13, the  Senate Speaker and Legal Representative of the United Methodist Church of Burundi invited the faithful to recognize the blessings of God. He also reminded them to maintain their spiritual greenness, in accordance with the theme of the year 2025, inspired by Psalms 92:12-13.

He also urged them to humble themselves and exalt God in gratitude for His goodness to them. He insisted on the importance of not forgetting his blessings and always remembering that God does not like the proud. Finally, he encouraged everyone to maintain spiritual freshness in all circumstances, like the palm tree, which remains green even when climatic conditions change.
