Christians urged not to abandon Jesus Christ

The Senate Speaker and Legal Representative of the United Methodist Church in Burundi, Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, accompanied by some parliamentarians elected in the constituencies of Bujumbura and the town of Bujumbura, joined the faithful of this Church, in Rubirizi parish, Mutimbuzi commune in the province of Bujumbura, during the Sunday celebration prayer, on June 16, 2024.

In his preaching, Right Honourable Sinzohagera mainly focused on some holy scriptures, notably Proverbs 4: 10-13 and Revelation 2: 24-25. He asked them to be characterized by righteousness and wisdom, and not to abandon Jesus Christ.

The Right Honourable Speaker of the Upper House of the Parliament called on them not to enter the path of the wicked, and to instill religious values ​​in their children. He also asked them to convert and believe the gospel.
