Closing of the Thanksgiving prayer commemorating the 4th anniversary of the inauguration of HE the President of the Republic

On the occasion of the closing of the prayer of thanksgiving commemorating the 4^th anniversary of the investiture of HE Evariste Ndayishimiye, President of the Republic, on June 22, 2024, the Senate Bureau and all senators, joined the presidential family in this ceremony, which took place in Nyabihanga, in Mwaro province.

This event was organized under a theme taken from Deuteronomy 8:7-18.

In his message, the Head of State thanked the Burundian population for responding to his call to roll up their sleeves and get down to work, which contributed to this year’s good harvest.

He expressed his gratitude to the Almighty God, who protected him during his four years in power, and thanked the participants in this prayer.

These ceremonies were enhanced by religious songs from different choirs, and were attended by various high-rank authorities of the nation, including members of the Bureau of the National Assembly, the Vice-President of the Republic, the Ombudsman, deputies, members of the Government, as well as a huge crowd of Burundian citizens coming from all the provinces of the country.
