Communal representatives invited to contribute to the eradication of ethnic segregation

The Senate Speaker, Right Honourable Emmanuel Sinzohagera, met, on Saturday March 11, 2023, the communal representatives of Rutana province, in the chief-town of this locality.

Right Honourable Sinzohagera, in his message, informed the participants in this meeting that the Bureau of the Senate of Burundi has organized a campaign to meet the communal representatives of the 18 provinces of the country in order to discuss their specifications.

Taking the floor, the communal representatives mentioned the challenges they face during their mission such as the minimal attendance fee, difficulties in planning following the lack of knowledge on the new programme budget policy, late invitations to the sessions, and so on.

The Right Honourable Sinzohagera advised them to always visit the communal law and the Manual of Administrative and Financial Procedures for effective success in their mission.

He also invited them to contribute enormously in the eradication of ethnic segregation in Burundi.
